Message from Chairperson

Inaugural Address: 15th Chairperson of ICAI Singapore

Theme: The Year of the Prof-Preneur

Our Vow of Service

Attaining this position with humility, it is my vow to serve.
I am not a leader alone; we are all companions together.
With an open and generous heart, I listen to every voice.
Spreading the spirit of friendship, I move forward with everyone.
Strength always lies in unity; division has no place.
Success is achieved through collaboration, not by mere thought.
Hand in hand, we all progress together.
United on a new path, we shall win over the world – with Love.

A Legacy of Stewardship

I take charge as the 15th Chairperson in the 17th year of this remarkable Chapter, I do so with deep humility, gratitude, and a strong sense of purpose. This is not merely a transition of leadership—it is a stewardship of a legacy built by each one of you.

This Chapter stands tall today because of our members collective effort, shared vision, and unwavering commitment. I am honored to carry this legacy forward—with all of you by my side.

Gratitude

I bow in gratitude to the Almighty and thank every member and volunteer for your trust. I extend my deepest appreciation to my family—especially my wife—my constant pillar of strength. My sincere thanks to our patrons, past Chairpersons, and committees whose dedication has brought us to where we are today.

A special note of gratitude to the leadership of ICAI— CA Prasanna Kumar ji (President), CA Mangesh Kinare ji (Vice President), and CA Charanjyot Singh Nanda ji (Immediate Past President)—for your vision, guidance, and unwavering support to our global fraternity.

The Leadership Team: Our Strong Pillar

I am proud to be supported by a dynamic and forward-thinking core team:

  • CA Kushal Jaju (Vice Chairman): A powerhouse of strategic thinking and financial insight. His dynamism will be key in driving our most impactful initiatives.
  • CA Nikhil Jain (Secretary): Bringing a rare blend of technical depth and transformational leadership to strengthen our governance and innovation.
  • CA Ayush Yagnik (Treasurer): Pairs financial discipline with a progressive mindset—and always with a smile.

Supported by our esteemed committee— CA Anuradha Shroff, CA Nishant Surana (my great mentors), CA Anshu Jain, CA Vikash Surana, CA Sarita Agarwal, and CA Vishal Tibrewala —alongside our dedicated volunteers and sponsors, we are a committed force working for you.

Strategic Direction: WISE & 3Es

We will build on the strong foundation of Engage, Empower, and Enable (Sanlagna, Sashakta, Saksham) through a sharper strategic lens: The WISE Framework.

Pillar Focus Area
W – Women Empowerment Transforming ‘Empower-Her’ into a movement of leadership and inclusion.
I – Integrating Well-being Merging professional excellence with mental health and inner balance.
S – Sustainability Adopting ESG as a core professional responsibility
E – Enabling AI Driving the rapid adoption of AI tools across our fraternity.

H2O: Health & Happiness Opulence

Most of you know I am passionate about the "H2O" of life—Health & Happiness Opulence. Just as water is essential for life, health and happiness are essential for the professional.

A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. This year, our programs will go beyond boardrooms and balance sheets. We will focus on mindfulness, fitness, resilience, and inner strength—fostering a year of mental and physical renewal.

Theme of the Year: The Prof-Preneur

We are entering an era where Chartered Accountants are not just professionals, but creators, innovators, and leaders. This is the Year of the Prof-Preneur. We aim to nurture the seeds of entrepreneurship within our fraternity, creating an ecosystem where ideas flourish, collaborations thrive, and future leaders emerge.

Strengthening Regional Bonds: ASEAN Integration

We will continue to strengthen our ties with regional bodies like ISCA and actively engage with fellow ICAI chapters across Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and beyond, building a more connected professional network.

Togetherness: Our Core Strength

At the heart of this Chapter lies one belief: People First. This will be a year where ideas are encouraged, leadership is nurtured, and every contribution—whether from a young member or a veteran—is celebrated.

Closing

Leadership is not about authority; it is about responsibility. It is about walking together, growing together, and succeeding together.

My daughter, Archita, recently taught me a profound lesson: "Success is not just what you achieve; it is the joy you find in the achievement." Let us not just aim for a successful year, but a joyful and memorable one.

Jai Shree Krishna!

Jai Hind!
