Navigating Post Pandemic Investment Landscape

The Singapore Chapter of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) held another blockbuster Knowledge Series Event on 18 August 2022 featuring its members Venkat Iyer, Prakash Diwan, Hemant Geriani (who was also the moderator for the event) and one of its member's spouse Capt. Amit Sadekar.

The event started with Anuradha Shroff providing key updates in relation to ICAI Singapore Chapter including embracing newer technologies (e.g. online payments & receipts) & sustainability efforts. Hemant Geriani shared stories of investment journeys of various types of investors & their behaviour in various market cycles & presented his macro views on the global markets, followed by Venkat Iyer who spoke about global markets & trends while sharing his investment journey of over 3 decades. After that Prakash Diwan spoke about trends, cycles & investment opportunities in the Indian Stock markets & shared his personal investment journey, followed by Capt. Amit Sadekar who mesmerised the crowd by his investment journey in the alternative assets investment domain ranging from Whiskey to Royalty companies to digital assets.

This was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Hemant Geriani where the speakers shared their insights & experiences on their areas of expertise. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nishant Kumar Surana, followed by dinner.
