A visionary architect, public health pioneer, internationally acclaimed novelist, nursing leader and military doctor who played a key role in Singapore’s COVID-19 medical response and one of the 2026 inductees of the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame (SWHF).
Shalini was the first female to receive the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) scholarship to study medicine. She joined the Navy as a medical officer, served in several appointments, sailing for several operations and exercises. She served as a Commanding Officer of the Medical Classification Center in MINDEF as a part of the enlistment journey. She was seconded to the Singapore Civil Defence Force as its Chief Medical Officer. She was the guardian of the Front line during the Covid 19 pandemic.
She is an MBA grad from NUS and is currently serving as the Senior Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital.

Gauri Savadi is a woman of many achievements notable among them being the winner of prestigious High Performing Singapore Police Officer Award in 2022. She has been with the Singapore Police as a volunteer officer and officiating in the Sergeant 2 category. She was also associated with NTUC as a Director for 18 years as a Director of Pre school centers overseeing a staff of 100+ personnel, parents and children. She is also a well known mountaineer conquering the peaks of South Asia having scaled the African snow-clad Mt. Kili Manjaro.
